Cosy Stoves & Fireplaces Ltd is a limited company formed in October 2003. The company was formed to provide choice in Fireplaces, stoves and Gas fires to Sligo home owners. Other counties in Ireland have had the choice of a fitted out showroom showing completed fireplaces shown in their proper setting with working gas fires and stoves and we felt the time was right to showcase these products in the Sligo area. Both directors have a background in showroom sales to the house buyer and had experience from these previous careers to set up their own showroom. Attention to detail in the showroom backed up with full product knowledge is what we have always tried to achieve with our staff. Both our showroom sales and our fitting staff undergo full training on products, sales and health and safety.

We have grown our business year on year thanks to returning customers and customer recommendations to other potential customers. As a business we are constantly striving to find solutions to problems that our customers present to us. Convecting stoves and pellet stoves are just two examples of areas that we were not in before but have taken on as our customers realized the benefits these products offer.

Just this year we have entered a new market for us of range cookers and are excited about the opportunity it presents to the company.

Cosy Stoves & Fireplaces is a member of INFO the Irish National Fireplace Organization which is a national association designed to promote the industry and protect consumers from less than reputable retailers. To be a member you must be vat registered, have a formal complaint procedure and all members are encouraged to have completed the F1 fire place fitting course. All our fireplaces are fitted to the F1 standard for your peace of mind

Cosy Stoves & Fireplaces showroom is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and open Saturday from 10am to 5pm. We are open through lunch everyday. We now employ 6 people on a full time basis and one person part time. It’s only through continued customer support that allows the organization to expand and introduce new products.
